Notice is hereby given that there are currently five vacancies available for co-option in the Office of Councillor for Upper Rissington Parish Council.
If you are interested in serving as a Parish Councillor, please contact the Parish Clerk via email: clerk@upperrissington-pc.gov.uk or phone: 01451 810839 for a casual vacancy form which will need to be submitted by 12.00 noon on 9 June 2023. Supporting statements are encouraged on one side of A4, detailing why you would be interested in becoming a Parish Councillor.
Candidates are reminded that, to be eligible for co-option onto the Parish Council they must satisfy the standard election qualification criteria and the candidate must live or work within a three-mile radius of the village. It is hoped that co-option will be dealt with at the June Parish Council meeting, which will be held on 13 June 2023 in the Village Hall at 7.00 p.m.
