Departure of Vanessa Oliveri – URPC Clerk & RFO

It is with regret that the Parish Council must announce the departure of our Clerk at the end of this month; her last working day will be in the first week of August.

Vanessa Oliveri joined the Upper Rissington Parish Council over two years ago and she has given her all in the service of our Parish.  Her kind demeanour and energetic personality has been an ever present fixture in the Village; her customer service has been exceptional and we have received constant positive feedback on her work and support for our community.  It is thanks to her that we are steadily increasing our bookings in the Village Hall but it is also due to her efforts that the Allotments, Skate Park and other facilities are available to our Parish.  All of these achievements have been completed whilst facing the increasingly complex challenge of the adoption of Public Open Spaces and its associated complexity.

Vanessa has decided to depart, following her successful period with us, to spend more time with her family without the constraints of a full time role.

The Parish Council offer her every success for the future and I hope our Parish will join us in thanking her for all the work that she has done.

Vanessa – Thank you for the amazing job you have done – you have been an important part of our team.
