It is with huge regret that the Parish Council must announce the immediate departure of it’s Chairman from the URPC. Due to health reasons, Dan needs to reduce his commitments immediately and has taken the difficult decision to stand down from his post and from the URPC.
I know this will come as a disappointment to our whole community but he has quite rightly put his health and well-being first. He has the full support of the entire Parish Council in his decision
He has already expressed a desire to return at some point in the future but there is no doubt that his energy, enthusiasm and personal focus on our Parish will be sorely missed. We wish him well.
Nick Maxey, in his capacity as Vice Chair, will take over the lead role in the short term pending discussions that will be held at the next Parish Council meeting.
