Soup lunch at the Upper Rissington Village Hall

The first Soup lunch took place on Wednesday, 18 January, at Upper Rissington Village Hall, offering anyone living, working or visiting the village a hot soup and roll lunch.

Taking place on alternative weeks, you’re invited to join the Upper Rissington Pioneers, The Church in Upper Rissington and the Upper Rissington Parish Council for a Soup Lunch served from 12.45 pm until 1.15 pm (with access to the Village Hall until 3pm) on the following dates:

  • 1 February
  • 15 February
  • 1 March
  • 15 March
  • 29 March

All the dates are listed on the events page of this website.

There is no charge, donations only.

This event follows on from the hugely popular Upper Rissington Pioneers, who meet 11 am-1 pm on the same dates and is open to all. Pioneers were set up as a means for people to get to know others in the village. You can choose how long you wish to stay.

Come and enjoy a lovely hot soup, stay warm for the afternoon, meet others in the village and use the Wi-Fi.

The group would also welcome anyone interested in helping, including making soups or being available on the day. Please get in touch with Revd Nina on 01451 810309.
