Number 1 or 2 but replace the Church with the Control Tower (as it used to be!!)

I like the 2nd one. The addition of colour helps it stand out and be noticed.

I like the idea of colour on design 2 but how long lasting will it be?
Not sure why four of them show a maypole, as we’ve never had one but children on swings would be better.
I prefer designs 1 & 2 but would the church, as we don’t have one, be replaced with say the old Guard House or Officers Mess or Village Hall?
We don’t have a war memorial either, perhaps replace it with a windsock, as the airfield is a major part of what makes our village.
As one feature of our village is lots of trees, I think this should be a feature on the sign.
