The Parish Council takes great pleasure in announcing the appointment of a permanent Parish Clerk and an Assistant Clerk following resolution at the Parish Council meeting held on Monday 13 November 2023.
Ruth Waller has been holding the appointment of Locum Clerk for the last few months and has been doing an amazing job getting all things in order and compliant. Following discussions within the Parish Council, the decision was taken to offer her the position on a full time basis and we are delighted that she has accepted. We look forward to many happy years working with Ruth and we welcome her to the team.
The Parish Council have also decided to appoint a permanent Assistant Clerk in recognition of the increasing workload over the past few months and anticipated in the future. Claire joins our team following a short period in a temporary role and together with Ruth the Parish Council is now very well served in both experience, proactivity and community spirit.
All appointments have been made cognisant of existing budgetary constraints and they remain within plan. Please come in and meet the team when they are in the office.
This marks another excellent step forward in the organisation of the Parish and our community.
