Harris Gardens update

HARRIS GARDENS

The Parish Council has been in touch with the builders, Vistry, regarding the illegal fly tipping of garden and household debris etc on the area of woodland near the entrance to Harris Gardens.

At the present time, this land is still owned by Vistry.

Please could we politely remind all residents that fly tipping of any sort, which includes garden rubbish or cuttings is not permissible by law. Furthermore, please could we ask any resident who sees someone fly tipping to report the matter to Cotswold District Council. https://www.cotswold.gov.uk/environment/report-fly-tipping/

In addition, Vistry have confirmed that the little red brick building on this site, being the magnet for quite a bit of juvenile misbehaviour, will be deconstructed and removed during September.

This is good news. The builders are meeting with the contractors on site next week to review and consider other requests to get the area cleared up.
