Upper Rissington Parish Council are pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Wakefield as Village Caretaker.
As a resident of Upper Rissington for the last eight years, Andy will be working closely with the Parish Clerk, Vanessa, to help maintain the Village facilities. This will include playgrounds, open spaces once adopted by the Parish Council and the Village Hall.
Andy Cairns, Chair of Upper Rissington Parish Council said “Andy’s appointment comes at a key time for us as we get closer to the acceptance of the Public Open Spaces. I’m pleased that we now have someone in post to regularly check the village facilities and ensure everything is correctly maintained’.
Andy is already a familiar face in the village, often out walking his two border collies. He also runs his own business ‘AGW Heating and Plumbing’ from Upper Rissington.
If you spot anything around the village that requires maintenance, please contact Vanessa, Parish Clerk or via the Contact Us form.
