Dear Parish,
Some of you will have read the notice this morning about a hole in the playground. It has now been ascertained that this was due to the piece of equipment being forcibly removed from the ground on Friday night / Saturday morning. This has been reported to the Police under reference: 485 04/08/2023
Please can I ask you all to be on the lookout for wanton damage such as this and ask you to report it to the Police.
The result of incidents like this is that Parish Funds may need to be spent on replacing/repairing the damage rather than areas which improve the Parish. It will not be for Vistry to continually repair/replace damage that has been done by members of the Upper Rissington community once the POS is transferred.
